When to visit Palanga

Peak season runs June to August. These are the warmest months, when the Baltic Sea reaches swimming temperatures, J. Basanavičiaus street comes alive, and Palanga hosts summer concerts and festivals. We recommend booking ahead — popular weekends sell out as early as spring.

Late spring and early autumn (May and September) are an excellent time for a quieter vacation in Palanga. Fewer crowds, gentler prices — but the pine forest and Baltic seafront still hold their charm. Ideal for couples or families with young children.

In winter, Palanga becomes a calm spa destination — pair seafront walks with cafés, massages and amenities at nearby resort spots. Antano Vila is open year-round.
