Rest in Palanga
Now Palanga is a famous Lithuanian sea shore resort stretching along the Baltic Sea coast for 25 kilometers up to the very border with Latvia. The live natural coverage wrapping the town on all sides changes its summer green into autumn gold and black and white winter graphics as if touched by a painter's brush.
More and more people discover Palanga every year. The Health resort has learnt to accept, feed its guests as well as offer them interesting entertainment all the year round. Hotels, cafes, restaurants have become abundant like mushrooms after rain. The new sea pier provides romanticism for those who long for it, tennis courts, mini golf, and basketball grounds wait for amateurs of active movement. Somebody is always willing to cycle to Sventoji, roller skate or take a horse ride in the pine tree forests on the sea coast.
The beach volleyball grounds bustle with fans, water-jets dash through the sea waves, children squall jumping. In the evenings Basanavichius street racket with people, the terrace of the palace in the park is full of classical music sounds, and the sunsets impress their beauty on thousands of people who are watching them. It's great pleasure to go and see Coronian Spit, Klaipeda Sea Museum, Stone Museum in Mosedis or Winter Gardens in Kretinga while staying in Palanga.
